Otherwise, why would someone turn down professional assistance in finding a home? My job is to keep the transaction “at arm’s length,” such that personalities and emotions do not become involved. Price negotiations take special skill and understanding of the psychology of offering and counter-offering. As a skilled negotiator, I keep the transaction dispassionate and rational. I use specific and professional analytical apps to compare different features of a home to arrive at a fair offer and show the homeowner why this offer should be considered seriously.
