So Why Is There a Combo Lock on My Listing? Even though electronic lockboxes are the best solution, NH’s current system forces listing agents into a corner. As much as I wish I could guarantee that all buyer agents will have access via an electronic lockbox, the reality is: If I use a Supra lockbox, some agents won’t be able to get in. The only alternative is using an outdated combo lock. And combo locks aren’t trackable, making them a less secure option. It’s a Catch-22 that NH’s MLS and outdated agent mentality have created. What This Means for You as a Seller Buyer access is being restricted—not by me, but by the system. Your home may get fewer showings simply because of outdated MLS policies. Until NH catches up with the rest of the industry, we’re forced to work within these limitations.
