repels them. I've seen sellers very proudly show me the beautifully exterior paint job they did without consulting me-one in pumpkin orange, and another in a sickly green color! Since it was already done, I couldn't tell them that what they did was actually worse than not painting, and that most buyers would either want to repaint the exterior, costing thousands of dollars, or just go on to the next house. Please give me a call if you'd like me to view the exterior of your home to give recommendations on improvements that will make the biggest difference and attract the most buyers. If your home landscaping, exterior and/or interior needs repairs when you put it on the market, you will have to ask a lower price, and know that it will take longer to sell, to boot. It's ok if you want to sell "as- is"-just know that you will need to sell it for less.
