Make a List—Then Ruthlessly Edit It Grab a notepad (or open your Notes app if you're fancy). Write down every single thing you think you want in your future home. Go wild—nothing is too outrageous at this point.
Then, take a deep breath and start slashing.
Prioritize your list by what you need to live your life comfortably and safely , then highlight your top 3–5 nice-to-haves . If your budget can swing them, awesome. If not, well… you can always upgrade later. (Sorry, infinity pool with built-in margarita bar—you’ll have to wait.) Outside First, Then In Start with location.
