Russell Vause is a retired attorney with substantial experience in all aspects of civil litigation from client intake through final disposition at trial. Oral advocacy and courtroom experience includes jury and court trials, arbitration hearings and leading negotiations in mediations and settlement conferences. He also served as a court-approved arbitrator in civil cases, conducting arbitration proceedings, including ruling on pre-hearing motions, evidentiary issues, witness testimony, costs and attorney fees. Prior to starting and managing his own law firm, Russell Vause began his legal career in a major metropolitan district attorney office performing case evaluation and charging decisions, plea negotiations and conducting 50+ jury and court trials prosecuting traffic and criminal offenses. He also has marketed Family Legal Services and Identity Theft Protection Plans to families and businesses as a voluntary group employee benefit and marketed Small Business Legal Service Plans and consulting services to small business owners while he recruited, trained and coached his sales team of 100 legal plan associates.
