If you’re busy with construction, these things get pushed aside, and your business can’t grow as quickly. Speaking of your contractor, once the project begins, you’ll want to keep in touch with them regulary and supervise, as needed. Don't hand everything off and walk away from the project just because you feel that you have hired a great contractor. Things still go wrong. They may make mistakes and you’ll lose time and money if the work has to be redone, regardless of whether it’s due to a mistake or if it’s simply work not done "up to your standards". Stay on top of the project and hold the contractor responsible to meeting your timeline and standard of work. Tip: Be sure that you talk to a Real Estate Attorney before hiring any contractor. You will need proper documentation to outline the agreement between you and your contractor and all the work that is to be done in order to protect yourself. A good attorney can assist with this.
TIME TO SELL: HOW TO NEGOTIATE
The best way to sell your home is to list it with a great real estate agent. (Unless, of course, you are a great real estate agent, in which case, it’s all up to you!) Whether you’re listing yourself or you’re handing over this part of the process, it’s important that you know all the best marketing tips tricks. I have proven ways to get your home sold quickly and for the highest price, and I’ll go over this in the next section.
