Different? Real estate agents come in many different shapes, sizes, personality types, and work ethic. Which real estate agent is right for you? When interviewing a listing agent there are certain things to look for, one of the first things I would look for is someone to hold my hand and guide me through the entire sales process from start to finish. Another thing I would look for is to make sure the agent is willing to invest in professional marketing (Professional marketing is essential for maximizing a property's exposure, attracting qualified buyers, and ultimately achieving a successful sale at the best possible price) to promote my house as this is the number 1 key factor to generating more demand, which could mean a higher sales price in a shorter period of time. Safety Plan? Unfortunately, a for sale sign in front of your home and online can be an invitation to burglars and scammers, while you see a home for sale, they see a home that is easy to access. Knowing that thieves and buyers are going through your house may tempt you to close the showings, but you will never sell your house that way. Instead, the listing agent should implement a Safety Plan (text or call me to request a free copy) to keep you safe during the process of selling your home. An experienced and Specialized Listing Agent performs many functions, such as Setting the Right Price, providing expert Guidance to Enhance the home appeal, Marketing Strategies, Negotiation Skills, Consultation, Legalities, Property Taxes. A listing agent who meets these criteria is certainly worth the commission they will earn.
