Braulio Hernandez REALTOR® - HOW TO SELL HOMES FAST FOR TOP DOLLAR

KITCHEN AND LAUNDRY APPLIANCES

For Existing Home

New appliances undoubtedly make an impact on buyers. The National Association of Realtors® conducted a survey of buyers and found that: • Buyers were usually “interested” or “somewhat interested” in buying a home that featured new appliances. • 41% percent of home buyers were willing to pay more for a home with stainless steel appliances. • Most buyers who were unable to get their sought-after appliances said they would have been willing to pay, on average, nearly $2,000 more for them. • The most important factor: that appliances were available in the home. Potential buyers want appliances included, and they are often willing to pay more for a home that offers them, especially when the appliances are new or in excellent condition. New appliances can be the detail that sets your home apart from the one for sale across the street. If new appliances aren’t an option, well-maintained, immaculately clean, and fully functioning existing ones still add value. However, what matters most is that the home is equipped with appliances, whether new or existing.
