We are currently featuring new homes for sale in Georgia including Ellijay, Blue Ridge, Jasper, Morganton, Mineral Bluff, Blairsville, Hiawassee, Suches, Talking Rock as well as Ducktown & Turtletown in Tennessee. Joe lives with his wife, Kathie in their home in Ellijay, GA where she takes care of his elderly parents ( Dad with Parkinson and Mom with Alzheimer’s ), so it is a full-time job. Together they cook and care for his parents in their later years just like they cooked and cared for him when he was a child. Joe says “It’s not easy, In fact, it’s hard but the right thing to do.” Joe and Kathie spend their free time enjoying gardening and canning. Their new toy is a freeze dryer where they preserve the bounty of their garden in mylar bags which have a 25-year shelf life. Joe and Kathie also enjoy boating and fishing on Carters Lake in Ellijay, GA.
