Make sure when you pack you use the appropriate boxes. The boxes are sized specifically for the weight associated with different areas of the home. Don’t leave packing to the last minute, it’s a big job!
WHAT HAPPENS CLOSING DAY?
Congratulations it’s closing day! Time for a final walk through with your agent. Normally the walk through is scheduled for 9 am to ensure the property is in the same condition as the last day viewed, the sellers have left items negotiated in the purchase and sale agreement, all appliances are still in good working order, there is no damage that was hidden during viewing and inspection and no damage has occurred during the move out and most importantly any items negotiated repaired or replaced in any inspection amendments has been complied with. If all of the above is satisfactory your agent will tell the lawyer and the funds will be released.
