This story sums up the kind of agent Jeff is, and the type of agent he continuously strives to be for his clients. Jeff was taught that if you want something in life, you must work for it. So that’s what he does. He works hard for his clients. Jeff was raised in Columbus, Ohio with 2 siblings. As a child, Jeff aspired to being in the army. Never did he think he'd stumble into the real estate industry, but you can’t always predict where or when you’ll discover what you end up doing in life. As the years went by, Jeff enlisted in the army and after 2 years he got an early release to go to ROTC at The Ohio State University. After 32 years, he retired as an infantry lieutenant colonel from the Ohio Army National Guard. After leaving active duty in 1978, Jeff became a police officer. He retired from law enforcement as a professional standards lieutenant who was in charge of training, accreditation and professional standards. From his first enlistment in the army to his retirement from law enforcement and the military, he never wavered in his resolve to become the best version of himself in every career move. Jeff got into the real estate industry 15 years ago when he felt like he was being underserved by his realtor. He was investing in real estate and learned that he was over-paying for properties. He set out to buy properties without over-paying for them and began working with others to assist them with their real estate purchases and sales. Jeff found his stride working with owners trying to sell their own homes (FSBO’s), seniors, and families in pre-probate situations. Jeff is a certified Senior Transition Specialist and prior to that worked with a professional investment company.
