I’m Ken Hasty, a REALTOR® and Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®), and I work primarily with adults 50 and better who want clear, practical information before making important housing decisions. Before returning to real estate full-time, I spent years leading sales and marketing teams across the country and internationally. Along the way, I bought, sold, renovated, and invested in homes, owned rental properties, and saw firsthand how real estate decisions can impact finances, families, and quality of life—especially later in life. My wife and I live in Metro Detroit, and today I focus on helping people navigate transitions like downsizing, relocating, selling a longtime home, or buying a place that fits their next chapter better. These aren’t rushed decisions, and they’re rarely simple. That’s why my approach is calm, straightforward, and pressure-free. I’ve completed specialized training through the National Association of REALTORS® as a Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®), with education and resources designed specifically for the needs of homeowners and buyers aged 50+. I follow principles supported by the SRES® Council and the Council for Action on Aging (CAA) g (CAA)to ensure seniors are informed, respected, and empowered.
