About Amy Sharman Amy was raised in Orillia with her sister Ann. As a child, Amy had aspirations of being a writer. Never in a million years did she think she’d stumble into the real estate industry let alone combine writing and real estate, but you can’t always predict where or when you’ll discover what you’re meant to do in life. Amy was taught at a young age that if you want something in life, you have to work for it. So that’s what she did. And she worked hard. As the years went by and after a successful corporate career in Toronto, Amy became Chief Operating Officer of a busy family with two kids, first in San Francisco then in Toronto. Whatever the challenge she never wavered in her resolve to become the best version of herself with each career move. Through all her travels she always kept close ties with her family and her cottage life on Lake Muskoka so when the opportunity came a few years ago to return to the Muskoka region on a permanent basis she immediately took it. Amy got into the real estate industry a few years ago inspired by the tremendous success of her mother, Sue Fitches, whose excellence, hard work and dedication to her clients through her long real estate career have made her one of the most in-demand agents in Muskoka. Amy set out to emulate that success by learning from the best and partnering with Sue to help create an even better experience for their clients. As her career advanced, Amy found her stride working with owners of waterfront cottages and estates.
