entrepreneurial streak. "The more important lesson I learned was the value of keeping my word. Doing the right thing when no one's watching - that's what really matters." Stacy also believes that magic comes from adversity. “God never promised life would be easy,” Stacy says, “I believe God uses our struggles to teach us – and I guess I had a lot to learn.” After her divorce and the loss of her dad, Stacy says, “You cry a little – maybe more than a little – then you move on. Family is my top priority, and I have the tenacity to do more than survive.” With 5 children you’re destined to have a few grandchildren, and she has been blessed with 11 to whom she is YaYa. Stacy’s two youngest were called to serve our country after 9-11 unfolded before their eyes. As the daughter of an Airman and granddaughter of a WWII Veteran herself, imagining her kids in the military wasn’t a stretch, but it did come as a surprise. Both enlisted about the same time and graduated within 2 weeks of each other, her son as a Marine, her daughter as an Airman. Both are now Veterans, but her daughter is the spouse of an active Air Force Major. Stacy is a proud Military Mom. Stacy’s experience and love of the lakeside lifestyle inspired her to specialize in waterfront properties on rivers and lakes. While her Lakeway home put her close enough to see water (Lake Travis), Stacy missed the more direct connection she had with water when she was growing up. She found that again in her beautiful second home on the shores of Lake Buchanan, which quickly became her “Happy Place.” Stacy reflects, “While it’s hard to beat a spin around the cove in my kayak, my favorite time is relaxing at the end of the day, feet up, drink in hand with my husband.
