Stacy Bray M.Ed., CREI, SRES - SELLING SECRETS YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO MISS

That's precisely why I consistently advise my clients to have their plumbing professionally inspected before listing their homes for sale.

Pool Worries, Be Gone!

If you own a pool, you're well aware of the effort required to keep it well-maintained. When you're preparing to sell your home and want your pool to be an enticing feature, the stress of maintenance can double. You want your pool to appear as a serene oasis in the eyes of potential buyers. A pool can be a significant selling point, but buyers who are interested in having a pool don't want to immediately think, "This will require a lot of work." Before listing your home for sale, it's essential to consider the following regarding your pool: · Is the pool clean? · For above-ground pools, are the parts free from rust and the liner in good condition? · For in-ground pools, are the cement, tile, and grout spotless? · Are there any broken parts or leaks? Are there broken tiles or cracked cement? · Is there a proper fence installed? · Not having a suitable fence may lead to zoning code issues. · Is the water level adequate? If buyers don't notice these issues themselves, a home inspector will certainly point them out. It's better to address any potential pool-related issues before listing your home, rather than scrambling to fix them later on.
