When I met Tim Meagher of Re/Max, they immediately saw the many plusses of my house and suggested it be listed on their Luxury Homes program that advertised to the NYT, WSJ, Robb Report and other high end publications AND reach people living in the NY metropolitan area. This was always a missing component in the sales and marketing benefits of other realtors that relied on old fashioned brochures, advertisements in downscale publications, etc. Within 12 weeks I accepted an offer that was cash and included the furnishings I no longer could use. We negotiated a quick closing as the new buyer had children they were eager to enroll in the local, excellent schools.
