CHAPTER 11 Find Your Communication Str our Communication Strength Let me explain why this matters. Suppose you are a naturally amazing, talented speaker. Would you be putting yourself at a disadvantage if you could only communicate with potential customers through writing? If you're a brilliant public speaker, should you spend all your time blogging online? Or maybe you're a fantastic writer, but the only way to communicate with prospects and clients is in person or on the phone. Wouldn't you be placing yourself at a significant disadvantage? Are you holding yourself back needlessly? If you can find out your most powerful communication strength, you can start focusing your marketing efforts in that area and get more business as a result. At the same time, you can find ways to minimize the communication styles that are least natural for you. Why spend too much time communicating in a way that is a weakness for you? The more time you spend putting your communication strengths to work, the sooner you reach your full potential.
IDENTIFYING YOUR STRENGTHS
The first thing you want to do is identify how you prefer to communicate. Think about the times you've communicated with people most effectively.
