As you can see, case studies tell stories about sales you accomplished or perhaps your broker has accomplished—stories about problems you have solved and incentives you offer. You want to put together an excellent case study proving how you got a better result than the other agent working on the problem. I love sitting down with my agents and brainstorming, helping them write out a good case study or testimonial. I know many brokers won't give rebates, but this is the price I am willing to pay, and my agents agree. Did you overcome an inherent weakness in the property? Identify a hidden advantage that the owners and especially other agents, completely overlooked. Help the buyers locate creative financing. Save what seemed like a doomed sale with a last- minute show of negotiating heroics? What set you apart from the people who didn't get it done?
