Making friends is a skill that anyone can learn. Now, why does this matter? Why do you want to learn how to make friends? I'll explain... If all other factors are equal, people prefer to do business with people they like. In other words, friends, or at least individuals who are friendly, if you know how to make friends, you can be that person and win their business. Now don't worry; if you don't have any, you can learn how to make friends. It's true. 100%! Don't doubt your abilities. This is a skill that any person can understand.
A TRUE STORY
Here's a true story. I know a man who struggled to make friends. He wasn't very good at it, and he honestly doubted that he had the ability to make friends. Because he was a real estate professional, this struggle held him back from his true potential in the business. One day, we were at a real estate convention in Dallas, TX. We had lunch and decided to attend one of the meetings together. When we got there, I started talking to everyone. I asked them questions, complimented them on whatever, and made them laugh. By the time we left, everyone knew who I was. Throughout the convention, people would approach me and introduce me to their colleagues, saying, "Hey, this was the guy I was telling you about..."
