Today, this man loves real estate because it's a great way to meet people and make friends. Whenever I see him, he's surrounded by people, and they're always smiling and laughing, not at him, but with him. Dale Carnegie realized that people are primarily emotional, not logical. Often, they're motivated by prejudices, pride, and vanity. Carnegie advised his readers to arouse in the other person an eager desire. The best way to influence others is to talk about their desire and show them how to get it. If there is one secret to success, it's the ability to see things the way the other person sees them. Here's what you can do: learn how to be nice. I know that sounds a little corny, but niceness matters. Just being nice can make a big difference to your business. Then you can learn how to bond with people. Crack a joke, share an experience, or give a compliment. Say something. Stop waiting for people to address you.
