they're performing at, they tend to get lazy, and they never do better. I believe people shouldn't get rewarded for doing what they're supposed to do. You only get rewarded if you go above and beyond what everybody else is doing. So you paid your bills this month; big deal. That's what you're supposed to do. You paid next month's bills and set aside money for the next three months...Good job, but can you do any better?" Go above and beyond what everybody else is doing. Make it a goal to do this for the next 5 or 10 customers, and you will have way more confidence in serving all your customers in the future. Customer service is like a muscle — the more you exercise the "good customer service muscle," the more it grows. Commitment can build your confidence, even if you're new to the real estate game and haven't had much success yet. Just knowing that you won't settle for providing second-rate customer service will give you a confident attitude. You'll meet every new customer, knowing that you will provide what that individual needs to succeed. If you were a prospective real estate client, who would you choose to trust with your business? The agent who's nervous and uncertain when explaining why they would like your business? An agent who's practically begging for your business? Or would you choose the confident agent? The one who's already researched your marketplace? The one who can show you testimonials and online reviews? The one who believes they can do the job and provide you with better customer service? Which one is the confident professional you want to hire?
