Why These Scenarios Matter

They also show that you do not need to sacrifice quality of life to save money. Many of the lower tax towns offer excellent schools, strong amenities, and beautiful neighborhoods.

Choose two or three towns and run your own version of these scenarios. You do not need complex spreadsheets. Just compare taxes and monthly costs.
