About Jay
Although Jay Satterfield is honored to have received the Charleston Realtor of Distinction award and ranks in the top 3% of agents in the Charleston market, he still remains humble and acknowledges there is always room for improvement. He's been committed to monitoring all aspects of our unique real estate market day by day and sometimes even hour by hour. At the end of each day he strives to give each client the tools they need to effectively navigate their "specific" real estate market and make the most informed decisions. Jay is the Founder of CharlestonResidential.com and proud to represent Nicklaus Vance Realty Group. NV Realty Group is a company founded on the pillars of hard work, integrity and excellence, inspired by owner, Mike Nicklaus and his parents, Jack and Barbara Nicklaus. Jay is a consistent top producer for NV Realty Group. He has also been Charleston’s top Dave Ramsey Endorsed Local Provider (ELP) and teaches Dave Ramsey’s trusted Financial Peace program. Jay is a native of the Carolinas, a veteran, a father of six and the eldest of three brothers. Jay’s father worked in sales and his mother worked for an architectural firm throughout his childhood. The Air Force took Jay to cities around the United States and Europe, where he served as a Russian Linguist. The following years Jay attended The University of Maryland, Charleston Southern and the College of Charleston. During this period he met his future & current wife, Kami Satterfield, who is also a real estate agent and mother to their six beautiful children.
