Robert has a background in real estate, having worked as an agent in Massachusetts from 2004-2008 before moving out of state. Fifteen years later, in the fall of 2023, Robert was in the process of getting his realtor’s license, this time in his new home state, Maryland. “Of course, training is my main deal,” he clarifies, “but I love the real estate space.” Robert was a featured speaker at the 2023 National Association of Realtors (NAR) annual convention last November, shortly after this interview took place.

Robert is a devoted husband to his wife of 22 years and an active dad to three kids, one of whom is in college and the other two are in high school. Robert’s expertise as a motivational speaker and trainer comes in handy when he coaches his sons’ baseball workouts. Describing his professional work, Robert explains, “I run a training company; we’ve been focused on the communication space for a few years, teaching [others] about how to communicate effectively, how to present powerfully, how to incorporate storytelling as the framework of your communication so that you can ultimately move people to action.”
