Keep Frustrations in Check and Consider the Feelings of Your Clients Dealing with emotional clients is rarely easy and can be frustrating for realtors, particularly when their motivation for asking the client to complete these tasks is to ensure their client is successful in their bid to buy or sell the home and to make sure they get a fair price. Understanding and patience are the order of the day. Remember, each situation is unique. By following Robert Kennedy III’s sage advice to communicate openly and honestly with your clients, you may learn they are going through personal struggles that are only adding to the tension inherent in the home-buying process. Put the thought of the commission at stake to the side and show empathy and compassion. Sometimes just having someone who is kind to listen to your troubles can make a person much more calm, confident, and secure in the knowledge that the major life decision they have just made is the right choice for them or their family.
