About KRYSTLE From Music Teacher to Realtor: Krystle’s Journey
How does a dedicated music teacher become a passionate real estate professional? For Krystle, the answer lies in family roots, personal resilience, and a lifelong love of learning. For 16 years Krystle has devoted herself to the classroom as an elementary music and chorus teacher. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Vocal Performance with a minor in Spanish, a Master of Music Education (MME) from the Shenandoah Conservatory of Music, and dual master’s degrees (MBA & MS) in Business Administration and Nonprofit & Association Management. Clearly, Krystle is a lifelong learner. But beyond her love for music and working with children, another passion quietly lingered in the background: real estate. Real estate is in her blood. Krystle is a second-generation agent, inspired by her mother who has spent decades in the industry. She grew up immersed in the language of home values, design potential, and the magic of turning a house into a home. Her mother always told her, “You’d be great at this,” and after buying her first home in 2017, Krystle began to believe it too. In 2023, she took the leap and enrolled in real estate classes — but life, as it often does, had other plans. At the time, she was raising a toddler and managing a partnership that didn’t allow space for her ambitions. With no time or support to study, she had to hit pause. Then came a major life shift: divorce. Though painful, it brought clarity and a renewed sense of purpose. Determined to reclaim her path, Krystle threw herself back into her studies. She sat for the licensing exam the day before Thanksgiving — and passed!
