In all of the years since, her attention-to- detail and commitment to owner satisfaction have been integral to her success in real estate, construction, acquisitions and business in general. Susan acquired a B.A. in Business Administration with an area of concentration in Marketing from Trinity College prior to opening Locs Hair Studio, a star-studded salon with 13 stylists in upper NWWashington, DC. Susan maintained this business for 10years with the same staff, which speaks to her interpersonal and management skills. She went in gutted out the commercial property, negotiated her lease agreement and maintained a thriving business until she decided to sell for profit and go into Real estate and construction with her family members and husband of 14 years who is also a developer and successful business man. Her husband was the first to encouraged Susan to aquire her real estate licenses to compliment his constuction company, so they could work as a team. Susan's older brother who is also a successful Realtor and developer acted as her mentor in the beginning of her real estate career as well. She attributes a great deal of her knowlege and succes to his teachings. In 2006 Susan became a licensed Realtor in both DC and MD and has since bought, sold, built and developed thousands of both Commercial and Residential properties.
