Now that you’ve moved in, you’re probably exhausted, and there’s still much work to be done with cleaning, unpacking, and settling in, but for now, stop, relax, and enjoy how far you’ve come and A big factor to consider before making your way through the above checklists is whether to hire a mover. While some people can certainly do fin e without this help, especially if they have a lot of friends and family available to help, and/or if they’re moving down the street. But professional movers are a big help with all the items you need to pack, load, and transport, particularly if you don’t have a lot of people who can help you, or you’re moving over a longer distance. Further, if you’re bringing several rooms of furniture and a family load of personal possessions, hiring a moving company will de fin itely be the more practical choice. With intra-state moves costing an average of $2,000 to $3000, and interstate moves averaging $7,000 to $8,000, you need to consider all your moving options carefully.
