About Karen N. Sims • Karen got into the real estate industry 20 years ago, my late sister Andrea Colclough showed me her brag book. When I saw her achievements, my thoughts were, she is a full-time house-wife, I wasn't full time, as I worked all the time, she lived in the suburbs, I lived in the City which the City values are generally higher, and I'm a hustler, so saw everything she did as double, and I haven't looked back. I set out to be and do the best in this industry that I can. Giving other little black girls the model that you can be very successful in this industry that many African- Americans are just now starting to get into. • Karen was taught at a young age that if you want something in life, you have to work for it. So that’s what she did. And she worked hard. As her older brother Lawerance Oliver always says she was born ready, and ready I am. • As her career advanced, Karen found her stride working with sellers especially, over these 2 decades of changing markets. She's an expert in getting the best value from your investment and in distressed markets, helping the homeowner find peace while having to go through a difficult time that may result in short sales of their home.
