By Jesse S. Gines - The "PROCESS" Help for Homebuyers from RE.Pros

About the Author Among many places, Jesse was raised in New York City and Carolina, Puerto Rico with his mother and grandparents. As a child, Jesse had aspirations of being a Psychologist and an Architectural Engineer. Never in a million years did he think he’d stumble into the real estate industry, but you can’t always predict where or when you’ll discover what you’re meant to do in life. Jesse's biggest inspiration and work ethic came from his grandfather who was a construction boss in New York City having worked in some of the biggest projects known to date such as the World Trade Center, TRUMP Tower and Battery Park. Jesse was taught at a young age that if you want something in life, you have to work for it. So, that’s what he did and he worked hard. As the years went by, Jesse worked his way from the construction industry following after his grandfathers footsteps into the real estate industry, later becoming an entrepreneur while never wavering in his resolve to become the best version of himself with each career move. Jesse got into the real estate industry in 2006 shortly after opening his first business as a home remodeling contractor. Scoring a contract with a "house flipper" it was during the financial crisis of 2007 that he purchased his first investment house with the intention of making a quick profit. He set out to get his real estate license in order to save money from the sale of the house only to become frustrated after failing the real estate exam six times. After finally passing on the seventh try more difficulties emerged after he ran out of money while remodeling the investment house and didn't have enough capital to get started in the very expensive and competitive real estate industry. As a result of his failures, his real estate career advanced when he began using his real estate license selling timeshare. Jesse
