However, this short time of guidance wasn't enough to prepare Chris for college, and he, unfortunately, failed out. Rather than feel defeated, Chris took a few years off from school and focused on his work. He shined in his various retail and customer service roles, but continually hit a glass ceiling. When he realized he was missing out on managerial positions and promotions solely for the fact that he did not finish college, he decided to go back and complete his education. As Chris attended college, he began to ask himself what career path may be best for him. After all, if you love what you do, then it won't feel like work at all. So, he decided to combine what he was good at with what he loves, and they both happen to be the same thing: building lasting relationships. In 2017, Chris graduated at the top of his class from Norwalk Community College and received the Presidential Award for Academic Excellence for being the only student to achieve a 4.0 GPA. In 2019, Chris graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Business and obtained his bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing & Data Analytics.
