Tracy Rose - 56427 - APPROVAL

About Tracy Rose While Tracy attended college, rental housing choices were either, a) Yuck or b) Even Yuckier. Her current landlord would not let her paint the walls or change the old carpet. She decided that it was time to buy a house. Her college days were the era of glam rock, big hair, and advertisements that stated "Buy this home for $0 Down!" What an exciting message for Tracy, a college student with $0 dollars. Tracy began searching for a home, visiting open houses, and found it confusing when no real estate agent would work with her. She decided to enroll at Middleton Real Estate Academy in Southfield to learn the secrets of the business. After completing the course and passing the exam, she became a licensed real estate agent at the age of 22. Having a real estate license enabled Tracy to buy her first home, built in 1929, painted a color that could only be described as "nude". Her real estate income paid for home improvements and her tuition at the University of Michigan. The "nude" color was changed to Pussywillow Gray, the interior was painted, new carpet installed, and colorful Impatiens were planted in new flowerbeds. Life was good! In 1994, Tracy was hired by Murray’s Discount Auto Stores to manage their real estate department. During that time, Murray’s grew in the Detroit, Toledo, and Cleveland markets, and expanded into the Chicago market. She was involved in site selection, lease negotiation, store build-outs, and lease management. Following Murray's period of rapid expansion, Tracy began working as a consultant for a local developer. She assisted with land acquisition, platting, infrastructure installation, and lot
