CHILDREN AND PETS SHOULD BE UNSEEN, UNHEARD EEN, UNHEARD
Children and pets are distractions for potential buyers, affecting their experience of your home. You should plan for your children and pets to be elsewhere. If you cannot relocate your pets, they should be crated or leashed, and no toys lying about or dog hair on the sofa. The dishes should always be done and the kitchen sparkling. If your home is listed by a real estate professional, the home should be vacated at least 10 minutes prior to the showing. Often scheduled showings arrive a few minutes early. Avoid being the seller who rushes everyone into the car while an agent and their clients wait patiently for the home to be vacated. Since a showing can take an hour or even hours out of your day, finding an interested buyer quickly is what matters most. How many times will you have to show your home? It is difficult to predict. Serious buyers and window shoppers will both schedule showings. Homes that show the best and are priced well, generally sell quickly and have a reduced time on market. This is where planning, organizing, and the professional help of a qualified expert real estate agent enables you to handle even the most intimidating tasks without wasting efforts. When listing a property, I always create a game plan customized for each client. This tool is designed to alleviate some of the hassle, and stress, of dealing with the traffic that is expected.
