CHOOSING A REAL ESTATE AGENT: WHAT TO ASK

Now you’ve found a few potential Realtors® whom you think might be right for you. But how do you decide? By interviewing them and asking the right questions, as well as avoiding certain mistakes. Pay attention to their answers. Anything that seems “off ” is a red flag. Interviewing prospective agents is necessary before signing any contracts or other paperwork. Ask the agent if they’re professionally familiar with your home’s location, general area, and neighborhood. Will they be able to be committed and dedicated to you during the home-selling process? Establish communication guidelines and ground rules together. Ask about the agent’s marketing strategies. Does it match your needs? As a seller, you need to be informed about how exactly your house will be sold, what makes a direct mail campaign appropriate or not, how often and when it’s best suitable to advertise, how to market your property online, and more.
