A realtor who updates your house? That was unusual! We’ve had some really incredible realtors in the past, but from the very first conversation with Richard about selling our home, we both knew we would be in excellent hands. His professionalism, warmth, accessibility, expertise, and dedication went above and beyond anything we’ve ever experienced before. He is an excellent communicator and communicated with us every step of the way. What makes Richard different is that he doesn't just list your home — he prepares it for your sales. Our house didn’t need many updates, but he did advise us to make a few specific, high- impact changes that would subtly modernize the house, like updating the recessed lights in our kitchen, as they had yellowed a bit. He even personally selected and installed new cabinet hardware as well as bathroom light fixtures (in addition to the recessed lighting), which improved our spaces in dramatic and noticeable ways we hadn’t thought possible. Richard’s stager, Ann, was equally phenomenal. Together, they made our home shine for the photos and the showings — the staging and presentation were truly beyond expectations. The photographer was also great and the photos for our listing showed our house beautifully. What sets Richard far above others is his data-based decision making and marketing. My husband and I are both marketing people, and my husband worked for the Realtors’ Association early in his career to develop some of their current algorithms and indices for housing prices--so he knows his way around housing data and real estate. RJ’s data-driven methods impressed him. That’s because RJ uses data to inform pricing—not just comps, but real-time buyer behavior to position his listings competitively and strategically.
