To avoid costly mistakes that could haunt you for years, you need to make sure you do your homework properly when house hunting.

TIMELINE - HOW LONG SHOULD YOU ALLOW?

If you are a first-time homebuyer or have not been in the real estate arena for many years you need to understand the timeline to purchase a home. If you are going to be financing a home with a mortgage, you should expect the process to take approximately 45 days from the time you get a contract accepted to the time you close on the home and get the keys.
