For skilled professionals I have been successful in locating some professionals from Craigslist.org (The electronic classifieds of today's times.) Here is the process I follow: • Let's take an example for searching for a HVAC professional. • Enter the Zip Code you will want the service and the radius from the Zip Code. • Drop down the map view. You will see the list of HVAC professionals that are currently looking for work. The professionals that have easy availability will at times tend to post multiple ads. • Once you find these, validate their licensing, insurance and whether they are bonded. • Ask them for their availability and how detailed of a work contract they will provide. • Most importantly, ask them to provide a list of reference jobs. • It will be ideal to obtain atleast 3 quotes from different professionals that way you will get a clear idea on the
