You wouldn't go on a date in dirty clothes, and you shouldn't show your home when it’s not looking its best. I recommend that you get references for the best cleaning crews, again, use the same methods I have listed above. Again, if you are in my service area, I will give you whetted referrals that will do the best and most optimal service for your situation. You may not realize it, but there are professionals whose entire job is to declutter and organize spaces. Whether you need someone to organize your closet space or simply help you get rid of items around the house you no longer use, stagers and interior designers are the best professionals to work with. If you need storage, you have multiple options. You can start with ones that cost almost zero as you are just moving the items in the home from one area to the other. Could be your attic, closets or sometimes the garage or outdoor storage sheds. When homeowners have lived long years in a home, it so happens that they have collected essential and not so much essential items for their fullest enjoyment. As such the space in the home tends to fall short and they then also start either expanding their home or bring in outdoor storage to accommodate their need for space. In case of long moves, the options are storage containers or POD's, moving companies and for those that are in the Do-it- yourself mode, can rent moving trucks, equipment and hire some help.
