It will either be an offer you can accept, or you will at least have more knowledge regarding the price the buyer has in mind. When you are negotiating, do not feel compelled to respond to an offer immediately. The buyer or their agent might interpret your silence as disappointment, and choose to revise the offer or offer a concession just to break the silence. Make the buyer or their agent speak first and be careful not to let the buyer or their agent use this tactic against you.
