What started as a way to pay for bills and school became my calling. Real estate wasn't just about buildings—it was about understanding people's dreams, solving their problems, and helping them find their place in the world. Maybe because I knew what it felt like to search for where you belong. After years of learning the business, I took the leap every immigrant kid dreams and fears in equal measure—I started my own company. Today, that company has grown beyond what I imagined possible. We've expanded across multiple states, renovated properties, and built something lasting. But the accomplishment I'm most proud of is that I did it while staying true to where I came from. My story isn't unique. There are thousands of us who started with nothing but determination. Who counted coins for groceries, wore the same outfit to important meetings, and wondered if we belonged in the rooms we fought so hard to enter. This journey taught me that success isn't about forgetting your roots—it's about using them to grow something meaningful. When you come from little to nothing, the drive you have is incredible, to this day, everything I do is for my family, and getting ahead while doing my absolute best, my determination is relentless. The future remains unwritten, but one thing is certain: that kid from rural Jamaica is here, still pushing forward, still believing that with enough persistence, anything is possible.
