Guerrilla marketing stands out, especially amongst the standard tactics of real estate agents. It's also not used that much (especially in the digital age), making it easier for you to stand out if you use it. It can help you meet more people and thus grow your sphere of influence. What is guerilla marketing, exactly? It is the use of unconventional marketing tactics to win consumers’ attention and wallets. It usually involves humor or something a bit shocking to capture people's attention. Besides attracting attention, another advantage of guerilla marketing is that it’s typically low budget. Furthermore, once you become good at it, sellers will notice your unusual marketing, and it can become another tool you use to differentiate yourself from other agents. Here are some examples of tactics that will help you meet new leads to work with, as well as new people in general. Hold a Photo Contest A selfie contest is always popular. Offer Discounts to Employees of Your Favorite Places This is another great way to stay in front of your community. Offer local restaurant or store employees a special discount for your services, and see how popular you become in those places.
