Clear your event with the faculty and staff first, and put some flyers together. Give the proceeds to the charity of the school's choice.
The school might already be having a few fundraisers throughout the year. You could offer to sponsor those, or present your own new ideas. Sponsor a team.
Sponsoring one of the school’s teams is always a fun idea to get your name out there.
Tell the faculty or coach that you'll buy the team's uniforms if you can have an ad on them.
Most public schools are strapped for cash, so they're not going to turn down someone paying for the jerseys or t-shirts, and it will probably only cost you a few hundred bucks.
Plus, think of all the parents (and their friends!) who will read your name at games — it’s definitely worth it.
