Foreword Dave has been selling real estate for over 30 years, Vanessa for almost 20 years. As we rarely show properties or interact with clients at the same time, we have participated in tens of thousands of showings and helped thousands of clients buy and sell homes. I guess you can say "we have seen it all," some good and a lot not-so-good. Overpriced homes, homes not ready to show, bad descriptions and unclear showing instructions, listing agents that are unreachable, untrained agents and some things I cannot mention here (for fear one of your children may pick up this book). The public has not been served well in many of these cases.
