and how he was going to do it.
And I'm telling you he did exactly as he said he would. The first day of showings we received an offer and by the 3rd day we had 7 offers! Our home sold on the 3rd day! He sold it for $25,000 over list and for cash no less! Wow! We just were amazed when he gave us the news on that 3rd day! How did he do it? By his extensive knowledge of the real estate market, by being part of each facet needed through the years. Including but not limited to the buying and selling of homes but also being a mortgage broker, being a general contractor and a national speaker explaining to others how to sell their homes and quickly. Getting to know Richard was truly the best part of this new journey we were to begin because we realized he cared and he cared about us. He told us the things that we should do to help sell our home and even helped us do those things; i.e., installing new lights, new doorbell, accent lighting, etc. Putting in items throughout our home that really made each room stand out. We can attest that there has not been a single realtor in the past 50 years of our marriage that gave us that amount of caring, attention or assistance and let me tell you the longest we've stayed in a home is for 15 years so that's how many realtors we have worked with over the years and have never used the same realtor twice. We would definitely use Richard again. However, we think it's time to stay put and to retire. Richard found us a beautiful home just to do that. So as far as Realtors go, we saved the best for last!
