About the Author Dawn grew up in Joppatowne, Maryland, alongside three siblings. As a child, she dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, never imagining that her path would one day lead her into real estate. Life, however, has a way of revealing unexpected timing and opportunities. From an early age, Dawn learned that achieving meaningful goals requires hard work. Guided by this belief, she worked her way from babysitting neighborhood children to becoming a graphic artist supporting government clients, and eventually launching her own graphics business. With each career transition, her commitment to growth and continuous improvement remained unwavering. Twenty-four years ago, Dawn entered the real estate industry, driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact in people’s lives while providing for her family. Being a hands-on mom was non- negotiable, so she intentionally chose a career that allowed flexibility to stay involved in her children’s school activities while still delivering exceptional service to her clients. As her career evolved, Dawn discovered her strengths in working with a wide range of clients, including sellers, first-time homebuyers, and veterans. She has since become known for her expertise in serving sellers, veterans, families, relocation buyers, first-time homebuyers, and those looking to move up or down in the housing market — a process she refers to as “right-sizing.” Dawn’s dedication and expertise have earned her numerous accolades throughout her career, reflecting her commitment to excellence in real estate. These include being recognized as a Top Sales Associate for multiple years, receiving the Cultural Icon Award, completing the BOLD program eight times, and earning
