reason. If you want to close the deal, you need to offer something no one else is. Even something small that might seem insignificant to you could be the tipping point for a buyer. Think of it this way: Let’s say you’re trying to sell your house in a neighborhood where several homes are similar in size, layout, and price. Buyers are visiting a bunch of homes and probably getting a little overwhelmed by the options. So, what’s going to make your house stand out? This is where the art of the deal comes in. You don’t have to discount your house or offer crazy price cuts. Instead, get creative. Maybe it’s offering to cover the first month of utilities, or throw in a free cleaning service to make their move-in easier. Or maybe you offer a free year of pest control, lawn service, or even a small credit for updates they might want to make after moving in. It doesn’t need to be a huge gesture, just enough to say, “Hey, this is a great home, and here’s something extra to make it even better.” It could be exactly what someone needs to pull the trigger and make your home theirs.
