Ruth Reed - Stress-Free Downsizing For Retirement

About Ruth Ruth retired from education in 2016 after 28 years of teaching. She got into the real estate industry a year later when she & her husband Les decided to purchase a retirement home. After a day of looking at homes with a sweet agent, Les asked her if Ruth would be interested in doing that. She obtained her Real Estate license 6 weeks later & has enjoyed being a Realtor® ever since. She loves serving her clients & being a part of their next new adventure. She loves giving back through Homes for Heroes® and Sell A Home, Save a Child®. One of her 1st listings was an 800 sf vacant home. A buyer was secured but before it closed, a winter storm set in. Ruth trudged through the snow each evening & each morning to check on the pipes & make sure the home would still be in good condition for the buyers at closing. This story perfectly sums up the kind of agent Ruth is, and the type of agent she continuously strives to be for her clients. Ruth was taught at a young age that if you want something in life, you have to work for it. So that’s what she did. As a Realtor® she strives to serve her clients with her knowledge, integrity and kindness. As her career advanced, Ruth found her stride working with 1st time home buyers. She excels as both a buyer's agent & a seller's agent. She honors veterans, teachers, law enforcement officers, firefighters & medical professionals by providing checks back after closing through the Homes for Heroes® program. Throughout her career, Ruth has earned numerous accolades, including: • Rookie of the Year (her 1st year in Real Estate) • Congeniality Award • Outstanding service award Ruth lives in the Hill Country with her husband, Les. In her free time she enjoys serving at the church her husband pastors. She also loves to attend her grandkids activities. v
