Background When I'm not busy landing deals for my clients, you can find me either on the water or on a bicycle exploring the Okanagan with my wife Karen and our kids Daniel, Hannah and Harry (our Aussiedoodle). We feel blessed to live in such a beautiful area where it is relatively easy to balance work with leisure. We've learned to embrace the beauty of our surroundings and to enjoy the wonderful Okanagan lifestyle and the people that call this place home. I was raised in Durban, South Africa and as an only child, fortunate to have parents that instilled within me a strong work ethic. From a young age I was taught that if you want something in life, you better go out and work for it. So that’s what I set out to do, dedicating my life to helping my clients achieve their real estate goals. I worked hard, but that’s not to say I didn’t have fun along the way. I got into the real estate industry by accident in 2005 when sitting next to an international property developer at a mutual friend's dinner party. One conversation led to another and soon I found myself on an adventure of a lifetime. Over the years that followed I worked in a development consulting team that focused on luxury resort developments in emerging Eastern European markets in Croatia, Bulgaria and Montenegro. My career advanced and I eventually found my stride in starting my own business, marketing high-end real estate. The natural progression into sales followed when I qualified as a REALTOR®. I mention all this to say that I understand the full circle of real estate, the dynamics and the emotions at play. Having lived on three continents (Africa, Europe and North America), I know exactly what it means to uproot, relocate and settle down.
