A word of caution—consider avoiding Craigslist altogether. Write a Great Ad

It’s not enough to just slap on an ad online and hope for the best; you need to write a compelling, attention-grabbing advertisement that highlights the best features of your property and attracts quality tenants. In other words, tell renters why they would love to live in your home. Don’t forget to keep in mind all Fair Housing Act laws when writing your ad so you don’t get complaints about discrimination.

Take Great Pictures

Finally, take some fantastic, high-quality pictures of the both the interior and exterior of your home and property. Well-written ads that include great pictures will attract more interest and help you find a good-quality tenant faster.

Now that you’ve prepared your home to be marketed and put your property on the market, it’s time to get ready to show your property to interested renters. Start with the phone calls.
