About four years ago I was referred to Ansa Tyus. At the time I was, unrealistically, wanting to help a friend who had returned from incarceration. Let's call him "Brook." He was working but wanting to put down his roots by firming up his living arrangements through owning his own home. Ansa, not put off by Brook’s having served time, showed a very accepting attitude. She noted the problems involved while directing us to look at two areas of DC which had not yet been gentrified. Eventually, Ansa and Brook identified a residence in SE DC. I was willing to support his efforts and with Ansa’s help we worked it out that I buy the house, taking on the PITI, while Brook sent me those payments monthly. He covered all the monthly maintenance costs. Just recently we worked it out for Brook to buy the house from me and also to pay me back for the expenses I incurred. (There is nothing like working hard all day and then coming home to your own place!) Ansa was a good “go-to” person during and after the purchase process. She is a “friend in the wings”, trustworthy, reliable and spirit-filled….a blessing. Rosemary Strange Ms. Tyus provided expert advice and exceptional service on two occasions, years apart.
